Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the fund's investment strategy, focusing on distressed assets, including troubled companies and undervalued properties with legal challenges
- Managing the fundraising process, including outreach to potential investors and the preparation of fundraising material.
- Developing and implementing investor relations strategies that align with the fund's overall goals and objectives.
- Oversee the entire investment process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and execution
- Monitor the fund's portfolio and actively engage with distressed company management teams, legal experts, and local authorities for operational restructuring, financial turnaround, and resolving property-related legal issues
- Develop and execute exit strategies to maximize value realization and return capital to investors
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Collaborate with key personnel to achieve fund objectives.
- Maintain strong investor relationships, providing updates on fund performance and market trends
- Stay informed on industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in investment management, specifically with distressed assets
- Proven track record of successful investment performance and value creation
- Strong analytical, valuation, and due diligence skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
