Job Responsibilities: 

  • Should act as the first and foremost face for the organization
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office and direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Manage phone calls - Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls 
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Manage the inward and out going courier for the organisation 
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate with 3 - 5 years experience as Receptionist or Administrative Assistant 
  • Should be friendly with a smiling face and a helping hand
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite  - Word, excel, PowerPoint
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Should be multitasking and have time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
