Job Position: Business Analyst- Energy Sector
Job Location: Gurugram
Job Type: Contract
Job Responsibilities:-
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business needs
- Gather and document business requirements through interviews, and documentation analysis
- Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive technical specifications for the development team
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements
- Analyze and prioritize requirements based on business impact and feasibility
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and optimization
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and adhere to industry standards and regulations
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders and end-users during the implementation and post-implementation phases
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose solutions to address issues and mitigate risks
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Energy Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as Business Analyst
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the energy sector or a similar industry
- Strong understanding of energy industry processes, regulations, and trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis techniques
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools is desirable
- Certification in Business Analysis is preferred
